Plant Information

Verbena bonariensis is a herbaceous perennial - a delightful garden plant which forms stiff upright stems which are sparsely leaved with deep green oblong leaves with toothed marginsfrom mid summer through till autumn flat heads of purple flowers are formed. Prefers a free drining soil in full sun, sets seed freely and will spread around a garden.

Verbena bonariensis is excellent in a border, requires full sun, cut down after flowering
