Plant Information

Aquilegia Goldfinch, also known as Grannys Bonnet. The songbird series is a range with compact habit and very large flowers with bright clean flower colours. A clump forming perennial which forms a basal rosette of foliage and from May to July huge golden yellow flowers with long spurs produced on strong upright stems.

Aquilegia Goldfinch is excellent grown in a mixed border in full sun to dappled shade. Excellent in a mixed border planted with other cottage perennials. This compact variety can also be grown in a patio container - the flowers are long lived when cut and make an excellent cut flower.
