- Hebe Caledonia - Stunning purple Winter foliage - Masses of purple flowers in Summer and Autumn - Bushy habit - Patio pot or border
Hebe Caledonia is a very popular garden variety which forms an attractive open shrub. Caledonia has a very long period of interest with striking burgundy foliage and stems through the colder months (November to May), the leaves then turn green against a red stem and in July and August stubby racemes 3cm long of purple flowers are produced, a second flush and sporadic flowers may then develop through into early Winter.
Hebe Caledonia is a widely grown variety which works well in a border or large container, its year round appeal makes it a good plant for a prominent position. A trouble free garden plant which responds well to trimming.
