Jane Masters - Sales Executive
Jane has worked for Lowaters since November 2010, Managing sales to garden centres in the South Midlands and South West area. I grew up on a retail nursery and swore that I would never work in horticulture!!! However; I have now been working with garden centres for more than 20 years with both hardy nursery stock and bedding plants, and have gained some valuable experience in this time. I look forward to talking to you about our exciting range of shrubs and perennials and our brand new varieties of Hebe's that are coming through our own selection program.
James Plant - Sales Agent - South East
I have worked in Horticulture from the age of 16, originally for nurseries around Hadlow. Wanting to learn more, I studied at Hadlow and Askham Bryan where I gained my Diploma. After college I started up a landscape, design and tree surgery Business in Yorkshire, employing students from Askham, which I sold in 1993. Moving south I worked at various Garden Centres, including Notcutts, where I completed their Management Training Scheme, and ultimately became planteria manager at Peterborough and then Maidstone. I subsequently joined Garsons and then Van Hages as Outdoor manager, before moving into sales with Darby Nursery, and finally to Lowaters as Sales Director. Those of you that know me will know of my passion for my family, plants and of course, the weather!!
