Hebe Lady Ardilaun is an old variety named after Lady Amy Ardilaun and often sold as H. Amy. An upright growing plant with highly glossy deep green leaves which turn deep reddish-purple in the Winter, from July until the first frosts racemes of rich violet flowers are produced.
Hebe Leopard is a striking sport from H. x fran. Var. found at Lowaters by Andrew Donaghy which has a distinctive spotting pattern on the foliage and a more compact habit with shorter internodes and more sturdy stems, in Summer purple blue flowers are produced in pairs as rounded racemes from mid Summer into Autumn.
Hebe Leopard Spot is selected and raised at Lowaters Nursery and first launched in 2017. This beautiful sport has a compact habit and makes a dense plant with white centres to the green leaves, it has an upright habit and strong stems. In mid to late Summer rounded pairs of pale purple flowering heads are produced at the tops of the shoots.
Hebe Lilac Fantasy was introduced by Lowaters nursery and first sold in 2014. This variety was selected for its lustrous green foliage, robust habit and massive amount of flowers which are produced in late may and June, these are a pale lilac blue and smother the plant.
