Weigela florida Alexandra Wine and Roses is lovely hybrid raised by Herman Geers in the Netherlands, Alexandra is also known as wine and roses and has stunning dark purple glossy foliage and deep wine red flowers which provide a very attractive contrast to each other, if trimmed lightly after the first flush of flowers then it will re-flower in late summer.
Weigela Monet is a striking deciduous shrub, with attractive young leaves pink-tinged, creamy-white and green in summer clusters of pink flowers are produced. Trim straight after flowering to encourage new growth that will flower the following year.

Weigela middendorffiana is a wonderful upright deciduous shrub with large bright green leaves 8cm long.
